Project Continuing professional training of emergency medicine workers continued with the EP2 training programme exercise

After a complete lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, the project Continuing professional training of emergency medicine workers continued with the EP2 training programme exercise which was held from 25 to 28 May 2020 in Crikvenica.

The exercise gathered 30 pre-hospital emergency medical service doctors and nurses from the institutes of emergency medicine of Istria, Karlovac, Lika-Senj, Primorje-Gorski Kotar and Sisak-Moslavina counties. Leader Mate Matešić, with the help of a team of national instructors, introduced them to novelties in the field of emergency medicine to increase their knowledge and skills. In clinical practice training models, acquired solely for this project, participants acquire skills that will enable them to improve their performance in situations where the life of an individual or community is threatened.
The project Continuing professional training of emergency medicine workers is co-financed by resources from the European Social Fund and implemented by the Croatian Institute of Emergency Medicine with the aim of maintaining and improving the knowledge and skills of emergency medicine workers, while at the same time advancing healthcare in the Republic of Croatia and improving access to high-quality health services.
