The Croatian Institute of Emergency Medicine is implementing the e-Training, i. e. education of healthcare professionals at a distance electronically. That greatly facilitates access to professional content for healthcare professionals on the islands and in rural areas that are difficult to access.<\/p>\n
Lectures are held through separate video conferences and broadcast from the central location of the lecturer to multiple locations of the listeners. All the lecture participants have the possibility of simultaneous mutual audio-visual communication and an overview of content or materials for individual lectures.<\/p>\n
The professional chambers included in the e-Training are: Croatian Medical Chamber, Croatian Nursing Council, Croatian Chamber of Midwives, Croatian Chamber of Medical Biochemists and Croatian Chamber of Health Professionals. All lectures are registered and scored for the purpose of renewing the licenses of health professionals.<\/p>\n
